August Currently

Is it seriously August already?
For real?
I went back to school yesterday!
My summer is officially O.V.E.R.

Anyway.....

I'm linking up with Farley for this month's Currently!

Listening: We've become completely engrossed in The Killing on Netflix. Bad part... there's four seasons of finding the killer to ONE murder. Seems to be dragging on.
Loving: I've done a ton of shopping lately. Maurice's, Nordstrom Rack, Forever 21.... oh the possibilities!! Now to just decide on my first back to school outfit!
Thinking: Classroom setup/prep, lesson planning for a new year/grade level, house cleaning, grocery shopping.... ughhh! The list goes on and on!!
Wanting: Summer is officially over. It's so sad. This time I only had 2 months off and they were way, way, WAY too short. :(
Needing: I have a long list of books I wanted to read this summer and although I crossed off a serious amount... I still have a huge stack right next to me just screaming "Read me!!!"

Be on the lookout for my fun project I've been working on!!! Blog post is coming really soon!

    1. Well since you asked so nicely! hehe I will take care of that this week :)
I just went on a shopping spree. StitchFix turns out to be just too darn expensive. My first (and only) box ended up costing me over $300. I just can't say no!

    2. Can't wait to see pics! You know...I haven't done StitchFix yet, but was worried about the price. I love fashion, but am a bargain hunter fo-sho! The concept seems super cool, but I wondered if what they picked would be pricey!

    1. StitchFix is quite pricy. :( I love the idea of someone picking out clothes for me but I just can't afford to do it as often as I'd like.

  5. I agree that summer was WAY to short... and jealous of the new wardrobe! :) I keep telling myself that I will buy clothes when I lose the rest of my weight... and then I go on vacation... GAH! :) Have a great year! :)

  6. I have one month of summer left. I went until the end of June, so I get about 2 months, too. I did some shopping back in June for my summer vacation. This is the first time I have ever went anywhere in the summer since I was 28! I wont be able to shop again until October. :( I am also a bargin hunter! I enjoyed finding your blog through "Currently" What do you teach in grade - everything or just 1 subject?
